HELLO, I'M MICHELLE

I'm a Media and Communications undergraduate passionate about music, writing, photography and technology.

I’ve been interested in media from a young age, being intrigued by computer

software. Using self teaching techniques, I learnt how to use Adobe Photoshop

and Microsoft Office programs. After taking Media as a GCSE my passion

continued, and I was able to study this as an A-Level alongside Film Studies and

English Language. I then decided I wanted to be part of the media industry for

my future career, so was keen to learn more at degree level. In my first year I

study journalism, TV studio skills, radio and music industries.

In my spare time I enjoy doing competitive dance and cheerleading, keeping

me fit and building my confidence. I have been dancing from the age of eleven which has helped improve my teamwork skills and perseverance when challenged. I also enjoy listening to music and will attend live gigs and concerts whenever I can. As an amateur photographer knowing the basics of working with DSLR cameras, I hope to build my skills to do live music photography as a hobby too.
